A collection of vintage Omega boxes

We have been asked to sell a very large collection of vintage Omega boxes, including some great rarities that just never seem to come to the market. All those listed below down to "A Pair of Omega Mexico Boxes" form part of the collection, along with many others from brands such as Rolex, Girard Perregaux, Bucherer, Longines etc etc. Hugely impressive and put together over many, many years.

Omega Chrome Box

WOW! For me this is the star of the whole collection. These chrome boxes are now incredibly hard to find and it is quite likely that this version is the only one of its type. Dating from the 1950s, it's basically a chrome box with a wooden lining and red velvet inner with cream silk lid display. Made by Omega and branded for Everts Jewelers of Dallas, Texas. Omega symbol to the box lid. Probably the finest Omega box I've ever seen!

Incredibly rare, never seen one before! Blue plastic mid 1960s

Omega Boutique Cleaning Box

New old stock from 1999, these were available in very limited numbers and the only one that I've ever come across. Complete with brush, Omega loupe and cloth in an impressive Omega Boutique box. Really rare!

Late 1960s Silver "Bakelite" Box

Look what's just arrived! Fabulous silver box with pristine outer box and the always missing Omega cardboard front label. It's a very long time since I last saw one of these looking so good. From a private collection, with many more to come in May 2023.

Very Rare Omega Mexico Olympics 1968; Gold Box

Without doubt one of the rarest Omega boxes, these gold versions are just impossible to find. This one is from a private collection of watch boxes and is in remarkable condition. Probably only useful as an open display box (or may accommodate a ladies Omega).

A pair of Omega Mexico Boxes

Extremely rare and highly sought after by Omega collectors, these boxes were produced for the South American market and only available to Omega authorised dealers. Both date to 1968 and were issued to commemorate the 1968 Mexico Olympics.

Superb display boxes in excellent condition, they do crop up from time to time but usually condition is an issue, but not here! From an impressive collection.

It should be noted that these are designed as dealers display boxes and will show off your Omega supoerbly, but only as an open box, ie the box will not fully close with a watch in the holder (so if you want that, you'll need a red box).

1968 Mexico Silver Boxes

An excellent way to store your vintage 1960s or 1970s Omega. Produced to commemorate Omega's involvement in the 1968 Mexico Olympics, these boxes are extremely hard to find. These boxes were produced in a few different configurations, and needless to say we have them all!

Omega 1960s Box

Inner and outer boxes! New old stock condition. Inner box measures 10X10X6 cms. Applied Omega symbol to lid, Omega symbol and script to silk lining, grey/blue velour to inner base with Omega script and black velour watch holder. Exceptional and ultra, ultra rare in this condition.

Omega Mexico Box

Full size box measures 13X10X4 cms. Omega applied symbol to lid, Omega symbol, wording and Mexico Olympic font wording to inner lid. Omega applied symbol to base on satin steel finish with black velour watch holder. Excellent, virtually new old stock condition and ultra rare.

Full size box, 13cmX10cmX5.5cms. New old stock condition with applied Omega emblem to box lid.

Silk lined with Omega symbol and wording to inner lid, along with gold medallions. Base with applied Omega logo, satin steel finish with black velour watch holder. Excellent.

Exactly as above, different font to box front. very slight bubbling to paint on box lid, very light staining to silk lining, otherwise excellent.

These are really rare and virtually impossible to find.

My understanding is that Omega do not release these to the public and that all old displays are destroyed when replaced. Good news for you is that we have some! What a fabulous way to display your prized Omega watches. 100% genuine ex shop displays from an Omega authorised dealer.

All items are shop used, so expect some wear and tear. As always, happy to supply more details and photos on request.

Omega James Bond Display Unit

Features montage of Seamaster Professional Chronomter and Pierce Brosnan (photos are reversable with ladies mother of pearl Constellation and Julia Roberts on the other side).  Central section features watch holder for your Omega! Measures 37 X 31 cms, wooden, in very good condition. (I know it looks a bit wonky in my photo, it does stand up straight, it's just my bad photography!)

Omega Single Watch Display

Frosted glass with central C Clip watch holder. Measures 22 X 18 cms, in very good condition, some wear marks to the red surrounding frame, but otherwsie great. Best used with a plate stand as shown in photo of the reverse.

Omega Louis Brandt Photo Display

Wish I had one of these (The watch, not the display!) Brass hinged display featuring the Brandt watch with Omega metal applied logos on leatherette and Louis Brandt signature. Measures 41 X 25 cms fully extended. Minor wear.

From the 2003 New Zealand Americas Cup series, plastic moulded sail attached to laminate base. Measures 30 X 20 cms. Plastic a bit faded and general wear, but you are never likely to see another one!

Wish my photography was better! A deeper shade of red than it appears in the photo, a heavy plate glass display base with velvet centre square featuring Omega wording and logo to bottom right. Measures 20 X 20 cms. Very good condition

Omega Large Plate Glass Display Stand

Again, photo not great, it is consistently darker red with no fading. Very heavy plate glass base with velvet  centre section featuring Omega wording and logo to bottom left. Space for your watch, photo etc in top right hand corner. Measures 42 X 25 cms. Used, but very good condition.

Polished pale wood with gold side inserts, cream leatherette surface with double Omega symbols and red Omega wording and symbols to each side. Measures 36 X 25 cms. Used with some light scuffing, but generally very good.

Omega Individual Watch Displays

3 sizes, 6.5, 4.2 and 2 cms tall, all with Omega symbol and wording. excellent, as new condition from an Omega authorised dealership. Heavy duty resin, available either as a job lot or individually.

Universal C Clip holder (C Clip can be supplied if needed).

These do crop up occasionally on Ebay, where they go for a fortune! (But not at The Stamphouse...)

Larger tray, polished dark wood with gold side inserts, cream leatherette surfce with red Omega wording and symbol to lower right corner. Minor rips and small tears, measures 40 X 25.5 cms.

Red wooden curved stands with felt bases, Omega symbol and wording to each stand. Mesaures 11 X 8.5 cms and 7 X 8.5 cms. Minor wear, generally very good.
